Life in Japan

by Brenna Holeman

Life in Japan from This Battered Suitcase on Vimeo.

Osaka, Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara, Hiroshima, and Miyajima, Japan

I think of my two years in Japan all the time, and I think about the wonderful people I met there every day. Not only did I learn a lot and travel a lot, I laughed even more (and I apparently drank a lot of beer).

I moved to Japan half a year ago or so and this song really fits how I’ve been feeling about it, but your video also reminds me of all the great places there are that I want to return to. Thanks for another great video.

I chose the song because I saw Julian Casablancas play in Osaka…I don’t think the lyrics fit how I feel about Japan but I like that it’s a pretty fun song!

Thank you for your comment!

We’re going to Japan for the first time in literally 4 days – I’m so excited! Everyone seems to have nothing but wonderful things to say about Japan – this video definitely reflects that too!
