Luang Prabang, Laos

Luang Prabang is definitely one of my favourite cities that I’ve been to so far on this adventure. What is a favourite city of yours and why?

my favorite city is london and i think it probably will always be in my top ten places in my heart! it’s just so incredible, so huge but so small-twon at the same time. the markets and the museums and the tube, i love it! have you ever been??

Happy belated!

My favourite city, aside from my “home” city of Halifax and my Toronto home, would have to be Buenos Aires. The different barrios are all so unique in culture and atmosphere. I stayed and shopped in Palermo, toured around Recoleta, and La Boca seemed like a town all unto itself, especially after dark. And when we were ushered into a restaurant before their 8pm opening because the waiter feared for our safety. The people slept in and stayed out late so I spent at entire mornings wandering uninterrupted, evenings in top restaurants spending very little money. Nothing says Argentina like 7 steaks in 10 days, most of them consumed after 11pm. I will definitely make it back.

Thanks a lot, everyone!

Amie – I budgeted about 20 to 30 dollars a day for places like Luang Prabang, and that was with lots of extras like beer and souvenir shopping. It really is quite cheap. And yes, I’ve been to London a few times, I love it as well! I’d like to go back soon…

Garby – I would love to go to Buenos Aires, or anywhere in South America for that matter. I’m hoping to go in a couple of years! It sounds amazing…

Oooh yeah I loved Krakow, too. I had amazing vodka/apple juice drinks every night that have never tasted as delicious when I’ve tried to make them at home.

You are inspiring me to make more videos!! xxxx
