Jodhpur, India

Well, I am back in Thailand, back in Bangkok. As it is my fourth time here already there is not much for me to say but… it’s hot. Hot enough that I would give anything for an ocean, a river, or even a swimming pool for a quick dip.

Last night I met up with a friend of mine who I met in Japan – we laughed and danced and drank buckets of Sangsom and made Dutch boys buy us roses. Needless to say, it was a chaotic but fun night. I am off to Chiang Mai tomorrow, to meet up with an Englishman I met on Koh Tao (what seems like many moons ago) and to prepare for the ridiculousness that is Songkran, the famous annual water festival in Thailand. Perhaps that will satisfy my swimming urge…

Oi! Hope you find something refreshing soon. I’ve heard wonderful things about Chiang Mai. Have a friend who grew up there. Enjoy!

I remember my visit to Bangkok 2 years ago, it was summer and it was HOT. I almost fainted from the heat.

Be safe and enjoy!

Hannah – Thank you very much! So far I really like Chiang Mai…

Christine – It’s only April and the heat is overwhelming. I remember an August I spent in Vietnam…why do we do these things to ourselves?!?

Shannon – I don’t even know about that! Do you have any more info?
