Chiang Mai, Thailand

What can I say? The past five days have been absolute mayhem – one massive water fight that lasts from 10am to 9pm, with everyone involved. There is no escape. From everywhere there are buckets being thrown off of balconies, off the backs of trucks, from the sidewalks along the river. From everywhere there are water guns of all sorts, ones filled with ice water or Fanta or simply tap water. From everywhere, from every angle, you get soaked.

I’ve almost been a week in Chiang Mai and though I’ve seen only a few temples and other sights, I know that this place will forever remain in my memory as that place where I ate delicious food, made amazing friends, partied the day (and night) away, and had the time of my life.

Geesh! This looks insane! And mildly unsafe…lol. Looks like a good time though, a whole city with supersoakers? Yes please!

Yes, it was amazing! After five days of it, though, I think I had my fill…
