Parisian Sweet Tooth

by Brenna Holeman

Paris, France

Over the years I’ve noticed my taste buds changing, so that I now often crave savoury food instead of sweets. Give me antipasto and cheese, give me olives and prosciutto, give me platters piled high with hummus and baba ganoush…with one exception.

I can’t stay away from French desserts. If there is a paradise, it is one filled with macarons, flaugnarde, crème brûlée, tarte tatin, crêpes, mousse, pain au chocolat, mille feuille…need I go on?

I am actually extremely hungry at the moment and it pains me to look at my own blog. And yes, the macaron were delicious; they were from Ladurée!
