There are many things I will miss about Osaka when I leave in September. I never thought I'd say this, but live sumo will rank high on that list. A day spent with good friends, cheap beer, and 10 seconds of excitement every seven minutes is some of the best fun you can have in this city.

The first time I ever saw a sumo match was on German TV, ironically. But your experience sounds much more exciting :)
It is SO much fun! I've been four times and can't wait to go again. Unfortunately the games are only held in certain months in certain cities, though...
